Chronic disease is trying to become the new normal. Statistics now suggest that at least 60% of Americans and even 20% of children(!) have been diagnosed with at least one chronic disease. And it's not like the mystery of it is profound. Our world is now filled with insults that push our bodies toward these diseases. Many of these insults we can avoid (processed food, unfiltered water, sedentary life, toxicants in "vaccinations," household chemicals, etc.), but many others we cannot (harmful electromagnetic fields, plastics in our food and water, pharmaceuticals in our drinking supply, Roundup® in our food and ambient environment, mold hiding in our living spaces, etc.).

 

When disease takes hold, what is the best way to restore health?

I personally believe that bodies are intelligent and they do things that try to restore health. Yes, sometimes what they do makes us feel crappy, but cells and tissue and organs are not concerned with how we feel; they are concerned with restoring function. Every disease can be viewed through the lens of adaptation, an attempt to make things right.

 

What we call "dysbiosis" might be the body bringing in types of bacteria needed to accomplish a particular goal. What we call inflammation or plaques in arteries might be an attempt to supply sulfate locally or systemically. What we call diabetes might be the body's attempt to buffer the impact of exposure to chemical and/or electromagnetic exposure. I have a lot to say about all of this, but I'll leave the details for a conversation.

Whatever the disease or condition is, the question is always 'Why did you get this disease or condition?' The answer lies in exposures, genetics, nutrients, or infections, and most likely some combination of those.
